Twice's 'TT' Reaches 100 Million Views
Just a few days into 2017, Twice have officially smashed the record for the fastest Kpop group music video to reach 100 million views. Last year, the group's track "Cheer Up" arrived at that milestone in only 206 days, breaking "Bang Bang Bang's" record of 232 days, and now the members have returned to destroy their own achievement by a span of 135 days. Indeed, "TT" broke the 100 million view count in only 71 days (the video released on 10/23/2016, and reached 100 million views on 1/3/2017). Love them or hate them, Twice have made a monumental achievement that is a hopeful sign for the future of kpop; the Hallyu community is growing faster than ever, and the rapidity with which 'TT' attained this number goes to show that. May 2017 bring similar breakthroughs in the world of kpop, both from Twice, and from the myriad other fantastic groups that make up the Korean entertainment industry!
